FAQ
Questions about directory sync
Each person's name, job title, department, phone numbers, profile photo, organizational unit and group membership. It reads only the fields your templates use, and it reads them with read-only access.
No. The directory is the source of truth and Signifier only reads it. If a job title is wrong in a signature, fix it once in the Google Admin console and the signature follows on the next sync.
A new person gets a signature on their first sync, with no setup on their side. A changed title or phone number flows into the signature on the next sync. When an account is suspended or deleted in Google Workspace, there is nothing to clean up in Signifier.
