About Signifier
The most-sent, least-managed piece of a company’s brand is the email signature.
A company of eighty people sends thousands of emails a week, every one carrying a signature that nobody owns. The logo is three versions old in finance. Sales has a quote under it. The new hire copied hers from a colleague who left. The website is reviewed by a committee; the thing customers see far more often is typed by hand.
Signifier exists to make that one thing right and keep it right: one template, filled in from the Google Workspace directory, in every Gmail account, with the brand locked and a campaign under it when marketing wants one. Made in London, for companies that run on Google Workspace.
What we hold to
Five decisions that shaped the product, written down so you can hold us to them.

Google Workspace first
Most signature tools were built for Outlook and treat Workspace as a port. Signifier starts from the Workspace directory, Gmail's own settings and the Admin console, and will come to Microsoft 365 later rather than the other way round.

The price is on the page
Every plan and every price is public, in dollars and pounds. You sign up yourself. Nobody has to sit through a demo to find out what it costs.

Say exactly what we can reach
The security page lists what the connection reads and writes in the same words as the consent screen, and says plainly what certifications we do not yet hold. Admins should not have to guess.
- 4.
The directory is the truth
A signature should never be typed by hand. If a title is wrong, it is fixed once, in the Admin console, and the signature follows. Nobody is asked to paste anything.

Count, do not track
Clicks are counted as facts about a link, not about a person. No cookies on recipients, no open tracking, no profiles.
